About Yatra Kailash

Yatra Kailash was founded by Vinod Bisht — a Dharchula local who grew up watching pilgrims arrive from across India to begin their sacred journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. After years of guiding pilgrims personally, Vinod established Yatra Kailash to create a trusted, locally-run operator that pilgrims could depend on completely.

Our team consists entirely of people from Dharchula and the surrounding Bhotiya communities — the indigenous people of this high-altitude region who have guided travellers through these sacred mountains for generations.

We are the only Adi Kailash operator based in Dharchula itself. This means we issue Inner Line Permits same-day, we know road conditions daily, and when something goes wrong in the mountains — and sometimes it does — our team is already there.
