Season Breakdown
What to Expect Each Season
May & June โ Summer
Peak Clarity Season
Fresh snow on Adi Kailash, crystal blue skies, wildflowers in the Jolingkong valley. Om Parvat symbol perfectly visible. Roads freshly cleared. Best for photography. Our May and June batches fill up first โ book 8 weeks ahead.
July & August โ Monsoon
Manageable but Variable
The route stays open but afternoon clouds and occasional rain affect views. Mornings are usually clear. We schedule Om Parvat and Jolingkong visits for 4:30am departure to beat the clouds. Build 1โ2 buffer days into your itinerary.
September & October โ Autumn
Best Overall โ Our Recommendation
Post-monsoon sky is a deep, washed blue. Adi Kailash stands with extraordinary clarity. Om Parvat symbol is crystal clear โ October's fresh snow defines it perfectly. Fewest pilgrims โ most peaceful darshan of the year. October includes Navratri โ auspicious timing.
