The original abode of Lord Shiva — the axis of the universe in Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Bon traditions. The Kailash Parikrama (52km circumambulation) crossing Dolma La Pass at 5,630m is one of the most sacred pilgrimages on earth.
The Indian Kailash — entirely within India, no international permits required. Located in Pithoragarh district, accessible via Dharchula. Combined with Om Parvat (where snow forms the ॐ symbol), this is the most spiritually complete yatra available within Indian borders.
Located in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Kinner Kailash is a challenging high-altitude pilgrimage. Famous for a 79-foot natural Shiva Lingam at the summit plateau. The circuit trek is 3–4 days and involves considerable trekking on difficult terrain. Best season: July–September.

One of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Himachal Pradesh. The Manimahesh Lake at 4,080m reflects the sacred peak. The famous Manimahesh Yatra (annual pilgrimage) happens in August–September around Radha Ashtami and draws hundreds of thousands of pilgrims. A 3–4 day trek from Hadsar.

One of the most difficult Himalayan pilgrimages — a natural Shiva Lingam at 5,227m in the Kullu district. The trek from Jaon village is extremely strenuous (75 km round trip with 4,000m altitude gain). Open only July–August. Requires excellent physical fitness and prior trekking experience.
