Acclimatisation Day at Gunji

Rest day at Gunji. Short acclimatisation walk. Medical check. Local village exploration. Prepare for high-altitude push.

Gunji → Nabidhang → Om Parvat Darshan (4,340m)

Early morning drive to Nabidhang. Witness the sacred Om symbol on Om Parvat in morning light. Return to Nabi village.

Nabi → Jolingkong → Adi Kailash Darshan (4,572m)

Drive to Jolingkong. Darshan of Adi Kailash. Parvati Sarovar (Gauri Kund). Puja at the temple. Return Gunji.

Return Journey → Dharchula

Scenic drive back through river valleys. Arrive Dharchula by evening. Celebration dinner. Overnight Dharchula.

FAQ — Adi Kailash Yatra

Do I need prior trekking experience? +

No trekking experience needed. Most of the route is by 4WD vehicle. Walking portions are short — max 2–3 km. Reasonably fit people aged 15–70 complete this yatra comfortably every season.

What is the Inner Line Permit and how do you arrange it? +

The ILP is a mandatory government permit for travelling beyond Dharchula. It is issued by the SDM office in Dharchula. Since we are based in Dharchula, we arrange this directly for all guests — same day, no extra cost.

Is altitude sickness a concern? +

The maximum altitude is 4,572m. All our packages include a mandatory acclimatisation day at Gunji (3,200m). Our guides carry emergency oxygen and are trained in altitude response. We never skip acclimatisation.

Can senior citizens do this yatra? +

Yes. Many pilgrims aged 60–70 complete this with us every season. We recommend the Dharchula package for seniors and the VIP helicopter option for those wanting minimum physical exertion.

When does the 2026 season open and close? +

The season runs May to October 2026. It officially opened May 1, 2026 — batches are already departing. Contact us immediately to secure your dates as batches fill quickly.

What documents do I need? +

Valid government ID (Aadhar / Passport / Voter Card). Medical fitness certificate from any MBBS doctor. We handle all permit paperwork from there.
