Refund Policy

This Refund Policy works alongside our
Cancellation Policy. Please read both before making a booking.
1. Eligible Refunds
Refunds are issued in the following situations:
- Cancellation by the traveller within the eligible cancellation window (see Cancellation Policy)
- Cancellation by Yatra Kailash due to force majeure, government orders or safety concerns
- Duplicate payment made by error
- Overcharge due to a billing error
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following are never refundable regardless of circumstances:
- Booking deposit of ₹10,000 per person
- Inner Line Permit (ILP) fees once applied
- Tibet / Kailash permit fees once submitted to authorities
- Hotel and accommodation costs for nights already consumed
- Meals, transport and guide costs for days already completed
- Any third-party bookings made on your behalf (flights, trains, etc.)
3. Refund Timeline

4. How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are processed to the original payment source. We do not issue refunds in cash or to a different account than the one used for payment.
Once a refund is approved:
- You will receive a WhatsApp/email confirmation of the refund amount
- The refund will be initiated within 3 business days of approval
- Bank processing time is additional and outside our control
5. How to Request a Refund
Send a refund request via WhatsApp or email with the following details:
- Full name and booking reference number
- Date of payment and amount paid
- Reason for refund request
- Bank account or UPI details for refund (if different from original payment)
6. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision, please email us at [email protected] with full details. We will review and respond within 5 business days. Disputes unresolved after 30 days may be escalated to the consumer forum in Pithoragarh district.
